MPs will debate a motion to appoint Judge Sir David James Carruthers as Chair of the Independent Police Conduct Authority when Parliament resumes today.


This will be followed by a motion approving the appropriations for the 2011/12 financial year in respect of Vote Audit, Vote Ombudsmen, and Vote Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment and the appropriations and information for the 2012/13 financial year in respect of Vote Audit, Vote Ombudsmen and Vote Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment.

The first Government Bill is the third reading of the Taxation (International Investment and Remedial Matters) Bill
