Opposition MPs bills will take centre stage in Parliament this evening.

Following Question Time and the General Debate, MPs will first debate the third reading of the Hutt City Council (Graffiti Removal) Bill.

This will be followed by the interrupted first reading debate of the Minimum Wage Amendment Bill.

Then there are more first readings; the Ombudsmen (Cost Recovery) Amendment Bill, the Income Tax (Universalisation of In-work Tax Credit) Amendment Bill, the Local Government (Council-Controlled Organisations) Amendment Bill and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Amending Primary Function of Bank) Amendment Bill.
