MPs Face Alcohol Issues Next Week

Parliament will debate the committee stage of the Alcohol Reform Bill on Tuesday, Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee said today.

In his Business Statement to the House, Brownlee said the Government also wished to make progress on the Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading and Other Matters) Amendment Bill and other bills depending on how much progress was made on Tuesday

A petition requesting the House prevent the closure of the Ranui special needs unit and other institutions for children with moderate learning needs was presented.
