Alcohol Debate To Conclude In December |
||
MPs will complete debate on alcohol reform legislation before Parliament adjourns for the summer.
The Business Committee has determined that the remaining parts of the Alcohol Reform Bill will receive their committee stage debate on Thursday, December 6 with final voting on the bill and amendments to begin at 5.30.
The third reading debate will then be held on Tuesday, December 11.
Earlier this year Parliament backed the status quo on
the alcohol purchasing age and the Government’s amendments
to some parts of the bill, before the debate was put on the
back burner.
