Solari Update: The Power of IT

Solari Update: The Power of IT

"Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time."
-- Colossians 4:5

By Catherine Austin Fitts

Our economy is run by force. In essence, authority and enforcement come from the barrel of a gun. That force hides behind complex legal, technology and financial systems. However, ongoing bailouts and violence are inspiring a wider understanding of more secretive forms of governance that extend from the centralized bureaucracies into local communities.

Often I talk about our core problem - that we are governed by people who are invisible to us and have the ability to kill and operate outside the law with impunity. Indeed, we have multiple groups in that category who are competing with each other. They often solve their differences by agreeing to steal from those who don't command the necessary force to protect their interests.

As we gather to create a world in which order and authority come from within rather than from external force, what would that look like? How would it feel? To begin, we need power. Where does authentic power come from? What is the nature of human power - how do we create it, build it, manage it? If we are to take responsibility and find the power of our imagination individually and collectively, how would we do that?

In this special Solari Report, Jon Rappoport and I will share a free ranging conversation about the nature of authentic power. Our goal is for you to increase your personal power in a manner that will make a concrete difference for you in the coming months.

At the end of each Solari Report, I always say, "Don't worry if there is a conspiracy. If you are not in one, you need to start one." If you are going to start a conspiracy, just where does IT begin?

Join Jon and I this Thursday nite for an exploration at the heart of the matter.

We will talk for as long as it takes to cover the material - up to two hours. There will be no Money & Markets or Let's Go to the Movies this week. Post questions for Jon and Catherine in the live webinar software or here on the blog.

The Real Estate Deal That Could Change the Future of Everything
Dan and Ben Miller began tugging two years ago at a simple question they believe is central to the failings of the American real estate industry.

Why I don't Invest in IPO's by Chuck Gibson
Benjamin Graham, the father of value investing and much of modern security analysis, recommended in his treatise The Intelligent Investor, investors steer clear of all initial public offerings. The reason? During an IPO, the previous owners are attempting to raise capital for expanding the business, cash out their interest for estate planning, or any other myriad of reasons that all result in one thing: a premium price that offers little chance for buying your stake at a discount. Often, he argued, some hiccup in the business will cause the stock price to collapse within a few years, giving the value minded investor an opportunity to load up on the company he or she admires. This often turns out to be case.

Franklin Lamb: The End Of Syria As We Know It? Why Obama Is Declaring War

The short answer is Iran and Hezbollah according to Congressional sources. “The Syrian army’s victory at al-Qusayr was more than the administration could accept given that town’s strategic position in the region. Its capture by the Assad forces has essentially added Syria to Iran’s list of victories... More>>

Paul Bruce: Why Light Rail Must Go Ahead In Wellington

In introducing a debate on Wellington’s future, the Dominion Post challenged us to think about big changes. The current transport model has failed to deliver, and all the recent studies show more of the same is going to make things worse. We need a different approach if we want a vibrant, economically successful city. More>>

Binoy Kampmark: Edward Snowden: Whistleblowing At The NSA

He has been so naughty, at least in the eyes of the security establishment. The British are up in arms about what information is being obtained on their citizens via U.S. channels. Foreign Secretary William Hague has tried dousing the fires, claiming that GCHQ’s alleged involvement in the global surveillance program PRISM did not involve any circumvention of the law. More>>

Franklin Lamb: The West To Pay A High Price For Targeting The Syrian Govt

A number of analysts and security experts who specialize in intelligence and security subjects in Lebanon and France have expressed this week shock at the way many Western authorities, including several in Europe and the United States, are avoiding engagement with the Syrian authorities and thus missing important avenues to help end the crisis in Syria. Andrea Brower: Coming Soon To Your Backyard, Monsanto And Gang!

When the handful of corporations set on owning, controlling and über-profiting from our common seed heritage — Monsanto, Syngenta, DuPont, Dow, BASF and Bayer — began experimenting with their proprietary chemicals and genetically engineered crops in Hawaii in the 1990s, barely a peep was made. Two decades later, we can’t even convince our Hawaii state government... More>>

Mitchel Cohen: For Each & Every Warrior Whose Strength Is Not To Fight

The weakness of strategies based on Lowest Common Denominatorism was in full evidentiary blossom during the 1991 bombardment of Iraq, re-packaged as “the Gulf war.” “Support Our Troops, Not the War!” insisted the National Campaign for Peace in the Middle East, which grew out of the old National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam...
