Horan’s Status Defined, RMA Reform Introduced
Brendan Horan was today declared to be an
independent MP after NZ First formally notified he was no
longer a member of the party, Speaker Lockwood Smith told
MPs when Parliament resumed today.
Smith said NZ First's funding, question allocation and office arrangements would be adjusted as a result.
A petition was presented calling on Prime Minister John Key to prevent the closure of the 24/7 Sexual Violence Service.
The Office of the Auditor-General’s Education sector: Results of the 2011 audits report was also presented
The Resource Management Reform Bill was introduced.
