Urgency Progress Update
After Parliament resumed at 9am under Urgency, Deputy Leader of the House Anne Tolley sought leave for there to be a Question Time at 2pm and leave was granted.
The Criminal Procedure Legislation Bill received its second reading on a voice vote and after the committee stage it was reported with amendment on a voice vote.
MPs are currently debating the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims (Continuation and Reform) Amendment Bill – Second reading and committee stage.
The following bills remain to be debated under the Urgency motion:
Land Transport Management Amendment Bill – Second reading and committee stage.
Trustee (Public Trust) Amendment Bill – Introduction and passage
Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Amendment Bill– First reading
