A petition and a select committee report were presented when the House sat at 2pm

A petition was presented from Sir Alan Mark asking the House to note 4465 people had signed the Wise Response petition calling on the Government to undertake a risk assessment and develop and implement cross party policies to eliminate any confirmed threats to New Zealanders.

The Interim report on the 2012/13 financial review of the Commerce Commission by the Commerce Committee was presented.

MPs then began Question Time.
