Grinding Through The Budget Debate

The Government elected to make progress on the set piece Budget Debate after Question Time today.

Instead of adjourning the debate during proceedings, the Government pressed on with 12 hours and 5 minutes remaining in the second reading debate of the Appropriation (2014/15 Estimates) Bill when it began after Question Time.

When the House rose just before 10pm, by leave, there were 6 hours 45 minutes remaining in the debate.
