Extended Hours In Final Weeks

The House will sit under extended hours provisions when it begins its final weeks in a fortnight’s time.

Deputy Leader of the House Anny Tolley said next week was the start of a two week adjournment. When the House resumed the Government would amongst other things give priority to the Land Transport Amendment Bill (No 2) and the Accounting Infrastructure Reform Bill.

The House would sit under extended hours on two mornings to progress the Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Bill (No 3), Parliamentary Privilege Bill, Kaikoura (Te Tai-o-Marokura) Marine Management Bill, Te Urewera-Tuhoe Bill and the Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau Collective Redress Bill
