Environmental Reporting Bill To Progress

The Environmental Reporting Bill will be amongst the legislation the Government gives priority to next week.

Deputy Leader of the House Simon Bridges said in the Business Statement, the Government would seek to progress a number of bills when the House next sat on May 5.

This would include the New Zealand Business Number Bill, New Zealand Superannuation and Retirement Income Amendment Bill and the Environmental Reporting Bill.

Wednesday would be a Members’ Day.

The Auditor General’s report "Inland Revenue Department: Governance of the Business Transformation programme" and the Parliamentary Commissioner’s Update report - "Investigating the future of conservation: The case of stewardship land update investigating stewardship" were presented.
