Papers and Bills Presented

When Parliament resumed at 2pm a number of documents were tabled and two bills were introduced.

Ministers tabled the Government Response to Report of the Local Government and Environment Committee on Petition 2008/135 of Sue Kedgley, the Attorney General’s report under the Bill of Rights Act on the Electronic Monitoring of Offenders Legislation Bill and the report of the activities of CERA for the seven months to the end of January.

Select committee reports were presented on the:

Gambling Amendment Bill (No 3) by the Government Administration Committee

Regulatory Standards Bill by the Commerce Committee.

The Accident Compensation (Financial Responsibility and Transparency) Amendment Bill and Electronic Monitoring of Offenders Legislation Bill were introduced.

MPs began Question Time.
