Budget Debate To Be Given Priority

The Government will seek to make progress on Budget legislation when Parliament resumes after a coming two week adjournment.

Deputy Leader of the House Simon Bridges said priority would be given to the Appropriation (2015/16 Estimates) Bill when the House next sits. This is a set piece 11 hour debate. The Government would also seek to make progress on a number of third readings.

Pharmac’s Statement of Expectation was presented as we the Speakers report on the trips of the parliamentary delegation to Europe in April.
