Precision Percussion Madness!
A spectacular stage show featuring Strike and the rapidly emerging percussion students from around the Wellington Region.

World renowned percussion group Strike selected the top musical talent from schools in Wellington and Porirua to develop the wonderful Batterie 100.

Strike have been working with Mana College, St Patricks College, St Catherine's College and Titahi Bay School over the past 18 months, steadily gaining confidence the group has developed its performance. The show included Strikes trademarks featured of theatre, dance, invention and rhythm all combined with the energy of Batterie 100. The indescribable sound of 75 young musicians playing 85 percussion instruments gives a well deserved experience to both the audience and the participants of Strike: Batterie 100.

Strike has developed the show with the children, teaching those amazing technical skills and showmanship with each individual that was shown throughout the whole show with multiple songs and audience interaction performed by the young students. The show was so creative and just kept on giving, a small fire show in fact. This show contained comical and excitement feelings between the audience and the young performers that kept the show rolling.

Don’t worry if you missed this show as we can be assured that they will be travelling New Zealand with this spectacular stage show in the very near future. The Gold Coin donations that were made on the night of the show will go towards further developing the Batterie 100 programme.
