Papers, Bills and Petitions

When Parliament resumed at 2pm a large number of reports, papers and bills were presented.

These included a petition calling for Parliament to pay urgent attention to the Law Commission’s report of medical cannabis.

A number of annual reports and other documents were presented, including:

Speaker Lockwood Smith presented the report of the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment ``Evaluating the environmental impacts of fracking in New Zealand’’.

The Health Committee’s report on the 2011/12 financial review of the Canterbury District Health Board was tabled.
