Eel Petition Presented

A petition on longfin eel and a number of select committee reports were tabled when Parliament resumed at 2pm today

The petition of Stephanie Bowman was presented asking that the House urgently legislate to place a moratorium on commercial fishing of longfin eel until it can be clearly shown that such fishing is sustainable, and note that 4,417 people have signed a petition supporting this request, and a further 2,349 have signed a petition online supporting this request.

International treaty examination of the International Monetary Fund 2008 Voice and Participation Reforms and of the International Monetary Fund 2010 Quota and Governance Reforms by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee

International treaty examination of the Protocol to Amend the Convention signed at Paris on the 22nd of November 1928 Relating to International Exhibitions by the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee.
