After Question Time today MPs are scheduled to debate legislation covering the activities of New Zealand’s intelligence community.

The second reading of the Government Communications Security Bureau and Related Legislation Amendment Bill should take place around 3pm.

Earlier today MPs sat under Extended Hours provisions to complete the first readings of the Ngā Mana Whenua o Tāmaki Makaurau Collective Redress Bill, Maungaharuru-Tangitū Hapū Claims Settlement Bill and the Ngā Punawai o Te Tokotoru Claims Settlement Bill.

All were sent to the Maori Affairs Committee for consideration on a voice vote.
