Slow Progress Under Urgency
The Government made slow progress after putting the House into Urgency today.
The House rose at 10pm interrupting the third reading of the Social Housing Reform (Housing Restructuring and Tenancy Matters Amendment) Bill after earlier completing the committee stage and reporting it with amendment.
It is likely quicker progress will be made in the coming days as less controversial bills are debated.
Parliament will resume tomorrow at 9am with the next item in the Urgency motion the second reading of the Game Animal Council Bill.
