The Government decided to press on with the debate on the
Prime Minister’s statement after Question Time.
The
House continued the debate to around 5.45pm leaving 6 hours
and 37 minutes remaining. MPs began the third reading of
the Subantarctic Islands Marine Reserves
Bill, but this was interrupted when the House rose for a
one week adjournment shortly before
6pm.
