When Parliament resumed at 2pm a number of petitions and papers were presented.
Two petitions were tabled, one asking the House inquire into the construction of a cycle pathway Napier and Gisborne and another asking the House to legislate for the protection of sub-contractors and trades when main contractors are liquidated.
Statements of Intent and Performance Expectations were presented from Careers New Zealand, New Zealand Transport Agency, Tertiary Education Commission and Ministry of Transport.
