The House: Crime Bill Progresses |

MPs have just completed the committee stages of the Crimes (Home Invasion) Amendment Bill and will next consider the Criminal Justice Amendment Bill (No. 6) in committee.
The Leader of the House, Roger Sowry has indicated that the Government will seek to complete the final stages of the crime bills next week.
Much of the coming week will be
taken up with other business, Tuesday will see a three hour
set piece debate on impress supply legislation. Wednesday
will be filled with the general debate and members'
night.
