NEWSFLASH: November 27th Election Date Set

The Prime Minister Jenny Shipley has just announced the election date will be November 27th.

Following a three hour caucus meeting where Mrs Shipley said there was some discussion about an early “snap” election Mrs Shipley made a small election speech before announcing the date as November 27th.

There had been considerable speculation that election day would be timed to coincide with the World Cup Rugby final on November 6th.
