Fake Gathering Tickets In Circulation |
||
Organisers of New Zealand’s largest dance party, The Gathering, are warning people who have purchased tickets in the last month that they may have purchased forgeries.
The Gathering takes place for three days over the New Year on Takaka Hill in Nelson every year and features some of New Zealand’s finest dance music.
Organisors say the last of the 8,000 original tickets to the event were purchased in October and any purchased recently could be fake.
They say they believe up to 1,500 fake tickets in circulation and are warning people to be vigilant.
