Body found in Avon River

Location of incident: Christchurch

A post mortem was carried out this morning on a body found in the Avon River. It has established that there are no suspicious circumstances.

Detective Richard Corkin of the New Brighton Police would like to hear from the male who was walking in the area of Locksley Ave, Dallington and first saw the body in the river.
