Inspite of the US imposing tariffs on our lambs the Federated Farmers still want President Clinton here for APEC. Labour says President Clinton should stay away from the conference in light of the decision. But Federated Farmers says it appreciates Labour’s support but it still wants President Clinton here. Farmers want to show him the error of his ways.

The hunt continues for two dangerous dogs still on the loose in Hamilton after turning on members of the public and killing seven sheep in the area. Dog control officers are appealing to the public to keep an eye out for a PitBull cross and a Staffordshire cross. One of the dogs was shot at and possibly wounded but they are both considered extremely dangerous. The dogs had earlier turned on members of the public and dog officers attending the sheep killing incident.

Lion Breweries says it will be more careful in future about who it sponsors, after an embarrassing end to a Christchurch competition. A competition called How Far Will You Go? ended with a man stapling and setting fire to his penis. For his efforts he won $500 cash and a $500 bar tab. Lion Breweries says it had no idea the competition would go so far.
