Amendment to Goff Schedule in Europe

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Phil Goff will now meet with Commonwealth Secretary General, Don McKinnon at 2 pm in London today, Friday. The meeting was originally scheduled for Monday.

Topics to be discussed will include the situation in Zimbabwe and the Commonwealth's response and the escalating violence in the Solomon Islands.

Mr Goff will be available for media interviews immediately after his meeting at 3pm (UK time) at Marlborough House, Pall Mall, London.

Child 'Uplifts': Children’s Commissioner To Conduct Review

The Children’s Commissioner has announced that his Office will be carrying out a thematic review of Oranga Tamariki’s policies, processes and practice relating to care and protection issues for tamariki Māori aged 0-3 months.
