Beehive Riot Over Prison Conditions

Matt Robson's prisoner's bordello and toddlers behind bars initiative has been squashed like a bug by his coalition colleague Phil Goff, says National's Justice spokesman Tony Ryall.

"Mr Robson and Mr Goff can't agree on anything - it's a good thing they're not cell mates or it would probably come to blows. It seems the only communication they do is through the media.

"Matt Robson's idea of prison is more in line with a holiday camp. Next thing they will be offering a wine or beer with the evening meal.

"The Ministers have already fallen out over the Bail Bill and the Legal Services Bill. They obviously can't agree on anything and it's about time something was done about it so some progress can be made in their portfolios.

"The Prime Minister should put a more responsible Minister in charge of the Corrections portfolio," says Mr Ryall
