MEDIA CONFERENCE

RELEASE OF MINISTERIAL INQUIRY INTO TELECOMMUNICATIONS DRAFT REPORT

The Chairman, Mr Hugh Fletcher and Panel Member, Ms Cathie Harrison of the Ministerial Inquiry into Telecommunications will release the Inquiry Panel's Draft Report at a media conference.

Those media representatives wishing to attend the media conference should supply names to the Inquiry Secretariat by 10.00 am on Thursday, 29 June. This is to meet security arrangements that apply to the Reserve Bank Building.

The information released at the media conference will be mailed simultaneously to interested parties in the telecommunications sector and to those who have made submissions. It will also be posted on the web at http//www.teleinquiry.govt.nz.
