McCully to Report to Local Authorities

National MP Murray McCully says he will write to all local authorities to give a full account of the Stigley saga.

"In light of Ms. Rosson's performance this week, there is little prospect of local authorities receiving an accurate account of events from her. So I will forward the relevant documents to them so they can assess the situation for themselves.

"Local Government New Zealand now has a lame duck President and the Government a lame duck Minister. That is not a combination capable of delivering the substantial legislation agenda for local government over the next few years.

"Ms. Rosson's strategy is to wait and hope that her opponents will leave. She risks causing mortal damage to her organisation," Murray McCully said.
