Important challenges for Industry NZ new Chief Executive
"I am pleased that the CEO of Industry New Zealand has been appointed. Mr Neil Mackay will be the first CEO of Industry New Zealand and this is a key appointment for the Coalition Government's jobs machine," the Minister for Economic, Industry and Regional Development Jim Anderton said today.
"When the Labour Alliance Coalition Government created Industry New Zealand in October 2000 it was to support industry, regions and businesses and overcome a range of barriers to employment and business development. There is a lot to be done and the new Chief Executive will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Coalition Government's industry and economic development programmes," said Jim Anderton.
