Jobs Machine Announcement

Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Development Minister Jim Anderton will make an announcement about a major new development in West Auckland on Sunday (4 February 2001).

The development will mean very significant new investment and export earnings, and a significant employment boost. The Government's Jobs Machine has been working on the project since last year.

Jim Anderton will be joined by representatives from the Government, Waitakere City Council and the private sector.
