Press Release: New Zealand National Party
|
National MP Lockwood Smith today announced that he would not
be contesting the Deputy Leadership of the National
Party.
"It is positive that there is competition for the
position. However, I believe that it should be a clean
contest between two candidates only.
"I have tremendous
confidence in both candidates and look forward to working
with whoever wins the caucus' vote," Dr Smith
said.
