Pete Hodgson will announce tomorrow the membership of an expert group to run a nationwide consultation process on the development of a New Zealand Oceans Policy.

The group, chaired by a notable New Zealander, will be responsible for consulting with the public and interest groups about their aspirations for the management of the marine environment.

The chairperson of the advisory group will be available at the press conference for comment.
