DJ Info is as follows:

JP Flex (Ninebar Resident)

JP Flex has been DJ’ing for 3 years now around Wellington and has been involved in Q Bar, Studio Nine, Jackin da Box, the last 2 Gatherings and many other local events. A strong local following has developed over the last year or so for his awesome tune selection & slick mixing. He has opened for International DJ’s such as Nick the Record and Mateo & Matos. His musical style stems from the Deep San Francisco / Chicago House sound with influences from Jazzy UK / European producers. JP Flex will be playing from 11-1am. Don’t be late ! If you are late then you will miss him. Pretty logical really.

Mark Burgess (Music People, Auckland)

Mark Burgess has been Dj’ing for 7 years now in Auckland and is originally from the UK. He has just come back from San Francisco where he has been DJ’ing to the US scene. He has been involved in Shakavara (One of Aucklands first warehouse parties in ‘94 / ‘95), has played at almost all Auckland venues, Release the Pressure (at Herzog ‘97) and is a co-promoter and regular DJ at ‘Music People’, one of Auckland's premier House nights. Currently playing at Khuja lounge, Caliber and Fu Bar (The Music People monthly), he has supported Mark Farina, Chez Damier, Derrick Carter, Corey Black (Imperial Dub), Dimitri from Paris , Joshua, Diz, Phil Asher , Johnny Fiasco and many many others! His musical style is oriented around US house and Garage with a touch of UK House. Mark Burgess will be rocking the House with some serious deck action from 1-3am

GENEtiK (Nelson / The Gathering)

GENEtiK has been has been DJ’ing for 5 years now in and around the Nelson district was the art director for the Gathering for several years running (and YES, the Gathering is on for New Years Eve 2001/2002 - check www.gathering.co.nz for more information on the party of all parties). He has played at the Gathering, many local gigs at the Artery (Nelson’s main dance party venue) and parties including Futurenature, Stardust, Eden, Harvest 2000, Summer Soulstice, Flipside’s 7th Birthday and many more. He has played alongside Flux, OB1 and Clinton Smiley and describes his musical style as rocking tech house with a definite musical quality to boot. Expect the roof to be torn off while this man is behind the decks. Gene is actually a hairdresser that wants to get into a bit of demolition work via the use of turntables and records. I think that he needs sledghammers, industrial compressors, jackhammers & the like but he tells me otherwise. GENEtiK will be shaking yo' ass from 3-5am

Cuffy (Wellington Legend):

Cuffy is Wellington’s House & techno legend – he really is. It's true. And as such really needs no introduction! (but i'm going to give you one anyway...) Cuffy has been DJ’ing for 4 years now in Wellington and has supported the likes of Derrick Carter, Derrick May, Gene Farris, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Mark Farina and many others, too many to list… Currently a Studio Nine and Q Bar resident, his musical styles range from breakbeat jazz through deep house / disco right through to techno. With a choppy, chunky mixing style and a record collection to die for you can expect an awesome musical selection and mixing to boot. Cuffy will be playing from 5am ‘till the dancefloor can stand no more!

PS (I promise to get Cuffy really pissed so that he gets all out of control behind the decks - as that's the way he tears it up best)
