Here I am, Pete
"I am here Pete. However I do have absolute faith in my colleagues Tony Ryall and Pansy Wong to handle the shambles of a bill that you foisted on Parliament and the electricity sector," National MP Max Bradford said today in response to comments made by Pete Hodgson.
"We said at the time the bill you introduced had fatal flaws. It has taken 18 months to try and push the bill through the select committee where a significant number of submitters have dumped on your policy.
"It is a pity you chose to play politics when a much better bill was introduced in 1999. You are now reaping the whirlwind of your short-sighted politiking in election year.
"If I were you, I'd watch my back. Helen Clark is surely getting ready to criticise you publicly just as she does with every other Minister who makes a mess of their portfolios, Marian Hobbs being the latest to join the list," Mr Bradford said.
