Owen Jennings hopes the appointment of Air Commodore
Bruce Ferguson to the position of Chief of Defence Force
will reduce the level of controversy surrounding our
country's defence forces.
"It is to be hoped that
the new appointment will be able to reduce the level of
politics and controversy that has swirled around the Defence
Forces for the past twelve months," Mr Jennings said.
