Release Of Parliamentary Questions

The Minister of Labour today released 39 answers to written questions regarding Susan Bathgate.

The answers repeat much of what has been released in the Auditor-General’s report, or repeat answers given to previous oral and written questions.

The only matter not already made public is the amount of Ms Susan Bathgate’s legal costs. The sum paid is $30,000 (including GST).

There is no severance payment and therefore no confidentiality clause. Ms Bathgate will have completed her outstanding work by 25 January at which time her warrant will end.
