No Consultation On Reappointment
21 May 2002
The Government should have consulted with the Opposition before making such a significant reappointment as the head of the Serious Fraud Office so close to an election, says National Deputy Leader Roger Sowry.
"Mr Bradshaw made an error of judgement in raising political matters with the Prime Minister's department last week.
"It now appears the Government though had already made a decision to reappoint Mr Bradshaw prior to this," he said.
