Labour Legislates Against South Auckland Kids

Lion Foundation's donation of one million dollars from gaming machines to the neonatal intensive care unit at Middlemore Hospital shows why anti-gaming legislation is wrong, ACT Internal Affairs Spokesman MP Penny Webster said today.
"The Labour Government's legislation against the gaming industry will cripple all of the charities, sports teams and non-Governmental agencies that don't get money from anywhere else.
"Labour's legislation won't work to reduce problem gamblers - it will only hurt good causes like the new-born kids in South Auckland," Mrs Webster said.
