Working People Worse Off Under Labour

The latest CPI figures show that people who work for a living are worse off under Labour, ACT leader Richard Prebble says.
"In the two-and-a- half years under Labour, the CPI food index has increased 11 percent - more than for nine years under National.
"Average ordinary-time wages have moved 7 percent and the CPI has moved 8 percent.
"With the latest CPI increase of 2.8 percent, it is clear that mortgage interest rates will increase.
"After three years of Labour, most of the 1.5 million fulltime workers and 400,000 part-time workers are worse off," Mr Prebble said.
