Green's pro-cannabis stance a loser with the voters
United Future leader, Peter Dunne, today charged the Green Party with failing to learn the lessons of the last election.
"The Greens' obsessive campaign to get New Zealanders smoking cannabis continues unabated, despite the very clear message from the voters that they do not like pro-cannabis policies," said Mr Dunne.
"Unlike the Greens, New Zealanders are very aware that cannabis use is the gateway to social and educational failure for our kids as well as leading to regular use of more devastating drugs like 'P'.
"Nandor Tanczos is entitled to hold his own views, no matter how extreme, but those views are not really a firm basis for sound public policy," said Mr Dunne.
