Dunne: Who's your dealer, Nandor?

Responding to Nandor Tanczos's "shock-horror" revelation in Parliament yesterday that Peter Dunne had admitted to experimenting with marijuana as a youth, the United Future leader today called upon the Green MP to name his dealer.

"I mean fair's fair, Nandor. You got me!" Mr Dunne said.

"I have long since confessed to a youthful indiscretion, as you so rightly pointed out. Now let's have the same level of openness and honesty from you. Who's your dealer?"

Mr Dunne said that given Mr Tanczos's long-standing disrespect for New Zealand law, and his generally evasive approach to the issue, he didn't anticipate that the Green MP would have the courage or the integrity to answer.

"We'll either get waffle and bluster, or an embarrassed silence. But what we never get from the Greens - particularly on drug issues - is the truth."

Gordon Campbell: Putting The SAS Back Into Afghanistan

Who has stolen John Key’s brain? The Prime Minister who only a couple of months ago was demanding to see a viable exit strategy before he would put New Zealand combat troops back into Afghanistan, has been replaced by a John Key impersonator for whom the vaguest of goals – combatting global terrorism – now seems like a darn good reason for doing so.
