SSC Terms of Reference Need to be Widened
Wednesday 25
Feb 2004 Richard Prebble Press Releases -- Immigration
ACT Leader Richard Prebble said today the terms of
reference for the State Services Commission inquiry into
the `guinea pig letter' need to be much wider to include
the role of the prime minister's electorate office in the
affair.
"What is an international agency, in fact the
one that provided the PR cover for the Sri Lankan girl,
doing working from the prime minister's electorate
office?
"The Auditor-General should be following this
closely," Mr Prebble said.
