Nandor to visit The Ark
Green MP and IT Spokesperson Nandor Tanczos is to visit The Ark, an Auckland computer recycler, this Thursday to offer his support to their efforts and discuss the development of the NZ computer recycling industry with both The Ark and the Computer Access New Zealand Trust (CANZ).
The Ark was set up in 1995 and gathers retired computers from businesses, government departments and individuals and gives them a new lease of life. Companies happily donate their old computers because The Ark deletes all data securely and are making a social and an ecological contribution by saving useable computers from landfills and instead passing them on to schools and community groups. The Ark is an accredited recycler for CANZ.
What: Nandor at The Ark. When: 1pm, Thursday, 11 March. Where: The Ark, 3 Rakino Way, Mt. Wellington, Auckland
