Support ‘Our Heros' Trust

New Zealand First veteran’s affairs spokesperson Bill Gudgeon is calling on all MP’s and the public to support the ‘Our Hero’s’ trust setup to help send another 75 Monte Cassino veterans to the 60th anniversary celebrations.

“I pledge $50 and call on all other MP’s to do the same,” said Mr Gudgeon.

“Many of these men are in their 80’s and this may well be their last opportunity to go to a celebration of this kind.

People can donate money at any BNZ bank branch or make an automatic $20 donation by phoning 0900heros.

“Let’s honour our men who fought so bravely and help them get to Italy to commemorate the sacrifices they made,” said Mr Gudgeon.
