What Health Risk Is The Spray Causing In West Auckland?
“The Government should take the public into its confidence with respect to the aerial spraying for apple moth in West Auckland,” said New Zealand First biosecurity spokesperson Brent Catchpole.
Mr Catchpole was commenting on news that a health report called into question the safety of the aerial spray programme.
“It is outrageous that questions of children’s health, and the welfare of anyone living in the spray zone is seemingly ignored,” said Mr Catchpole.
“If the Government has nothing to hide, it should explain the health risks to children and detail the chemicals in the foray 48B spray being dropped on the heads of our children in the name of saving plant life,” concluded Mr Catchpole.
