New Zealand Passport Terror Link - We Warned You Says NZ First
New Zealand First has called on the Government to review the immigration staffing situation at New Zealand embassies and start checking local citizenship applications over the past few years.
This follows the recent thefts of New Zealand passports and forgeries uncovered in Thailand.
Law and order spokesperson Ron Mark says New Zealand First has repeatedly warned the Government about citizenship and passport fraud but the response has always been an accusation of racism.
“There is no doubt in my mind that we have a number of people in New Zealand who are prepared to actively work against this country.
“Labour’s open door policy over the past four years has seen unprecedented numbers of Third World immigrants arriving without adequate checks and in some cases suspected terrorists are given residency.
“The latest case in Thailand follows an earlier swindle in the same area. It raises the question of how many cases are not being picked up.
“The Government must act to protect this country before it is too late,” said Mr Mark.
