So Long Saied
New Zealand First is telling the Immigration Service to send unwanted overstayer Saied Ghanbari home on the next flight, said Associate Immigration spokesperson, Dail Jones.
“Rt Hon Winston Peters first asked the Minister of Immigration in the House back in February why this illegal immigrant was still happily living in New Zealand despite the Immigration Service having full knowledge of his whereabouts.
“Ghanbari has deliberately evaded Immigration Service officials for 18 months and now they have trusted him to go home while they prepare his travel documents.
“The Immigration Service has already humiliated itself enough by its inability to find its most wanted overstayer. Now that he has handed himself in, they should not let him out of their sight,” said Mr Jones.
