National Party Leader Don Brash is moving to thank Roger Sowry for his "outstanding contribution" over the past 15 years.

Roger Sowry today announced he would be retiring from politics at the next General Election to move on to new challenges. "I respect Roger's decision to make a career change and wish to thank him for his outstanding contribution to the National Party, to politics and to New Zealand.

"He has a great depth of experience at all levels of Government and I wish him well in all his future endeavours," says Dr Brash.
