Budget Advertising Just Political Propaganda
Thursday 2 Sep 2004 Rodney Hide Press Releases -- Economy
ACT New Zealand Leader Rodney Hide today said taxpayers should be appalled that Prime Minister Helen Clark has grabbed $21.15 million to advertise her flawed budget.
"The Auditor-General's report criticises the way the Government went about its planned propaganda, and questions why over $21 million is needed.
"Helen Clark's Government has distinguished itself by its spin and propaganda. What's new is that taxpayers now have to fork out millions to pay for it," Mr Hide said.
